If you didn’t already know, Kaistar makes up one half of the city pop event Tokyo Love Song along with the Salt Box’s own XL Middleton. He just released a mixtape with Japanese label Bassline and we managed to get a few copies for you. One side Japanese boogie like what you’d hear at a typical night at TLS, the other side all modern funk. Suuuuper limited and comes in a full-on slip obi with purple translucent tape shell and artwork designed by Foniks (who also did XL Middleton's "Tap Water II" & "Rose Bowl Motel" covers as well as Moniquea's "On Repeat").
